2001
Fargo-Moorhead Pride was founded by a group of passionate volunteers
2005
First official Pride Parade and Festival held.
2010
Expansion of Pride Week events, including drag brunches and educational panels.
2021
2021 marked the official first year of Fargo-Moorhead Pride, drawing record-breaking attendance with participants traveling from across the Midwest and Canada.
2023
Continued growth, with more sponsors, events, and outreach than ever before!

Pride is more than just one month! Hosting Fargo-Moorhead Pride in August allows for greater participation, as many community members attend other Pride events in June. This timing ensures a stronger, more inclusive celebration for everyone.
